It’s time to for another edition of “Pick’em Thursday”! This week, we’re turning out attention to the playoffs, and more importantly, the matchup between Wilmington and Turpin.
Turpin (10-0, 5-0 FAVC) is coming off a big 26-14 win against this very Wilmington team. The Spartans find themselves with a big target on their back as they enter the 2009 playoffs as the #1 seed in Division II. The advantage of being the top seed though, is the fact the Spartans get to host this game.
As for Wilmington (7-3, 4-1 FAVC), they will be looking to avenge last week’s loss in a big way. For the Hurricane, this marks just the third time in school history they have made the playoffs, with the last time coming back in 2005.

And as always, you can catch our Pre-Game Tailgate festivities at Turpin High School beginning at 5pm. Kickoff between the Hurricane and Spartans is set for 7:30pm.
